Supply chain experts EURODECISION and PlaniSense have sealed a technological partnership agreement. This combines the computational power of EURODECISION's algorithmic engines, specialists in decision-making mathematics, with the functional richness of PlaniSense's planning software solution.

On the occasion of the 2023 edition of the Supply Chain Event, which will open its doors next week at Paris Porte de Versailles, supply chain experts EURODECISION and PlaniSense announce having concluded a partnership agreement. This agreement is both human and technological, as explained by Ronan Bars, CEO of EURODECISION (left in the photo): "For many companies, supply chain planning is becoming increasingly complex. Complex due to the growing number of constraints and rules, but also often due to the diversification of companies' product offerings. Our partnership with PlaniSense is based on the combination of our two business expertise: our know-how in decision-making mathematics and algorithmic calculation, with the broad functional coverage of PlaniSense's planning software solutions." Together, the EURODECISION and PlaniSense teams identify the problem to be solved, then decide on the most suitable configuration of the optimization algorithmic engines for planning needs. The PlaniSense software suite, which integrates these engines, will propose very precise schedules that can sometimes be fully automated. "By joining forces, we are addressing major challenges for companies" emphasizes Nazim Nachi, CEO and co-founder of PlaniSense. "This allows them to avoid disruptions and loss of revenue, reduce operational costs, and have a better ecological impact by reducing material waste."

A first contract signed with FORVIA (formerly Faurecia), a leader in the automotive industry

After an initial POC carried out internally to validate the compatibility of the solutions and teams, PlaniSense and EURODECISION signed their first contract with Forvia (formerly Faurecia), an international automotive equipment supplier. To optimize its dashboard manufacturing planning process, EURODECISION configured its LP-Scheduler calculation module in the PlaniSense platform, which is interfaced with SAP and other industrial production software. The automatic planning solution was deployed at a first site in Spain between 2022 and 2023. About ten production factories are currently being deployed in Europe and North America, with initial promising results. The solution has reduced assembly line disruptions by 50%, plastic raw material losses by 25%, and increased productivity by 4%. The tool performs near real-time planning, every 5 minutes, thus staying close to the operational reality of the equipment supplier. "There will be no 4.0 factory without automatic supply chain planning. The combination of our two expertise perfectly meets this need for reactivity," conclude Nazim Nachi and Ronan Bars.
